Thirty-five years ago, my high school coach handed me a worn nickel with a cross pressed into the center.
He didn’t give a long speech — he just said: “Keep this close. Not for luck, but as a reminder.”
I carried it through good days, hard lessons, and tough seasons.
Over time it wore smooth — and I realized it was never about the coin itself.
It was about the mark it left on me.
Carry The Cross™ was born from that moment.
